Oh La La!
When Alec was three he travelled to my sister Pati in California, Returning home to
Virginia he had a new word; fabulous! Now, after three days in France he says
Oh La, La!
This morning we experienced a French mass during which ten children, one a friend of Ludovich's received first communion. Rather long I would say but Alec didn' t think so. I also went to the voting station for a French election. Remember Michelle and Marie, the hosts of my apartment?
Michelle is the Mayor of Lysee and Marie, his wife invited me to join her at the voting station. When I walked into the station Michelle greeted me with the lovely French greeting, kisses. I love the French greeting. Do you realize that I have held the hand of Pope Jean Paul II, I have stood not far fro, President Bush 4yikes!° and now I have been kissed by the mayor of Lysee. Things are looking up. Ah.-, vin à la table, supper is served.
